Why we created this product ?
We wanted to create the best balsamic cream on the market: organic and containing 90% I.G.P. balsamic vinegar.
Our balsamic cream contains a high proportion (90%) of balsamic vinegar. In addition to being an organic product, its taste and consistency are exceptional.
The recipe for our balsamic cream is patented by our producer, the only one in the world legally authorized to make a balsamic cream containing more than 39% I.G.P. balsamic vinegar of Modena.
Furthermore, our balsamic cream is certified halal, GMO- and gluten-free, contains no caramel colouring and is 100% Italian.
Favuzzi balsamic cream is made with cooked grape must of the Italian Lambrusco, Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Albana, Ancellotta, Fortana and Montuni varieties. The must is then fermented with organic Italian wine vinegar, and finally aged in oak barrels for at least 60 days before being approved for packaging and consumption.
Then, balsamic vinegar of “Essential” quality is cooked until reduced to a creamy consistency. The fermented grape must and some organic corn starch (as a stabilizer) are added to the balsamic vinegar reduction to make the final product.
Produced in Cavezzo, Modena, the birthplace of balsamic vinegar and the only production area enjoying a protected geographical indication certification (I.G.P.). It is the legally protected region for balsamic vinegar production. As required by the I.G.P. certification, this product is made following traditional methods, in its protected region, which imparts unique properties.

Our producer is one of the most important of Modena, owning a great variety of barrels and wooden vats all destined for the aging of the best and most refined vinegars. Its commitment to quality, while selecting the best raw materials has led them to earn numerous awards, both nationally and internationally. They are also part of the Balsamic Vinegar Consortium of Modena and the prestigious American Vinegar Institute.
They were also the first to receive an I.G.P. certification from the European Union and are the world’s biggest producer of balsamic vinegar aged in oak barrels.
Balsamic cream is commonly used drizzled over ice cream or fruit salad as well as in dressings and marinades.
