Bistecca alla fiorentina

Ingredients needed

1 T-bone steak 5 cm thick or as we measure it in Tuscany, with "3 fingers"

Favuzzi Sea salt with fresh herbs

Favuzzi Robust intensity olive oil 

1 bag of small potatoes

Favuzzi Tuscan seasoning 

Pepper

Steps of preparation

  1. Boil potatoes for about 15 minutes, then roast in a pan with a little olive oil until golden brown. Add Favuzzi Tuscan seasoning to taste, mix and set aside.
  2. On the grill, sear and grill the side of the steak superficially to prevent the juices from running, then continue cooking, laying the piece flat on the grill. Turn the steak over just once, to give the inside time to heat up so that it remains "rare". 
  3. Add the Favuzzi sea salt with fresh herbs only when serving, once cooking is complete, to preserve the juices. Drizzle with Favuzzi's Robust intensity olive oil and freshly ground pepper. Serve with the roasted potatoes.
