Plain Focaccia

Ingredients needed

4 cups Favuzzi ''00'' Flour

1 tbsp Favuzzi Fleur de sel

2 cups warm water  

1 tsp. instant yeast (quick)  

4 tbsp Favuzzi delicate olive oil 

Favuzzi Bologna sea salt with fresh herbs

Steps of preparation

Mix the Favuzz ''00'' Flour, Favuzzi Fleur de sel, yeast and lukewarm water in a bowl until a dough forms. Add the Favuzzi delicate olive oil to the dough. Knead and cover with plastic wrap. Leave to rest for 2 hours in a closed oven with the light on.  

Roll out the dough on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and leave covered with plastic wrap for 30-40 minutes at room temperature.  

Remove the plastic wrap and dig your fingers into the dough to aerate it a little, then add a generous drizzle of Favuzzi delicate olive oil on top and Favuzzi Bologna sea salt with fresh herbs to taste.   

Bake for 30 minutes at 450 ˚F.
