Banana Protein Waffles with Pistachio Drizzle

Ingredients needed
Waffle Batter
- 1 cup of milk (or milk of choice)
- 1⁄2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 banana
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour (also works well with oat flour)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Toppings
- 1⁄3 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 tbsp icing sugar
- 2 tsp Favuzzi pistachio cream

Steps of preparation
- In a large bowl, add milk, cottage cheese, egg, banana, vanilla extract, and give it a good mix.
- Add to that same bowl your dry ingredients; all purpose flour, baking powder, and cinnamon, and mix well.
- Grease the waffle maker and use an ice cream scooper to add one scoop of batter to each section.
- Close the waffle maker and let them cook for approximately 5 minutes or until waffles are golden (your machine will usually indicate when it’s done!).
- Once cooked, remove from the waffle maker and place on a wire rack to come to room temperature.
- Plate your waffles with fruit of choice, icing sugar, and maple syrup.
- Finish off your waffles with a drizzle of the Favuzzi pistachio cream.
Note: Store in an air-tight container to enjoy throughout the week
