Pistachio Affogato

Ingredients needed

  • 1 cup of vanilla ice cream (approx 2 scoops using an ice cream scooper)
  • 1⁄4 cup of Favuzzi Ground Espresso Dolce Vita
  • 1⁄3 cup crushed pistachio
  • 2 tbsp Favuzzi pistachio cream

Steps of preparation

  1. In a small plate, add Favuzzi pistachio cream in a circular form.
  2. Rim your choice of cup with the pistachio cream, set aside.
  3. To another small plate, add crushed pistachios and rim the same cup with them, set aside.
  4. Add vanilla ice cream scoops to the same cup, and set aside.
  5. To another cup, brew your espresso.
  6. Top off the ice cream with the espresso.
  7. Garnish with additional crushed pistachios and enjoy immediately.
